Space Saving Power Rack, Made in the USA The design challenge was to come up with a wall-mount unit that could be folded inward or outward for space savings, yet still offer the sturdiness of our standard Monster Lite racks. To achieve this, our engineering team developed a unique hinge-and-pin system that is both easy to install and rock solid. In use as a squat stand, pull up rig, or power rack, the feel is miles beyond lighter setups that use thinner steel. A Rogue original Fold Back Rack is built with two 3x3" 11 gauge steel uprights, laser cut in Columbus, Ohio, with Westside hole spacing through the bench/pull area, and 2"-on-center spacing above and below. All steel is powder coated in the Rogue factory for a durable finish. Optional Fold Back Rack Stringers For optimal support, Rogue recommends adding a pair of stringers to your Fold Back Rack order via the menu on this page. Our custom-compatible stringers are made from laser-cut and formed 11-gauge steel and finished in our texture black powder coat. They measure 59" long x 10-1/8" tall, and extend 13/16" off the mounting surface when installed. One stringer is used to mount the top hinge brackets and the other for the bottom hinge brackets. You can learn more about our Fold Back Rack Stringers in the Key Features section below. ATTN:Spotter Arm Use: How and what the rack is secured to on the wall should be checked by a contractor. Depending on the wall type and how it was secured will depend on if the wall can take that stress.ROGUE RML-3W FOLD BACK WALL MOUNT RACK

KEY FEATURES OF THE RML-3W
1
HEAVY GAUGE AMERICAN STEEL & HARDWARE
The RML-3W uses heavy-duty 3x3" 11 gauge steel uprights with 5/8" diameter SAE grade 5 bolt hardware. Laser cut holes and heavy duty hardware maintain maximum strength. The RML-3W rack is compatible with most of our exclusive ML accessories and add-ons. Start with the Fold-Back as your base, and build your arsenal over time.
2
CHOICE OF DEPTH
The Fold Back Rack is available in two depths: 21.5" and 41.5". In the 21.5" version, the sides of the rack will position flush against the wall whether you swing them inward (towards each other) or outward. With the 41.5" depth rack, the sides can still fold in or out, but if both are moved inward, there will be a slight overlap—so to open up max space, you'd want to fold either both sides outward or one inward and one outward. For most setups the 21.5" is the best choice. Choose 41.5" if you need more space in the rack for gymnastic movements.
3
FIT, FINISH & LIFETIME WARRANTY
Every weld at Rogue is inspected individually at each step of the process for integrity and appearance. Each laser cut is inspected. Every part is again individually inspected for finish after the powder coat process. The entire package receives a final comprehensive quality assurance check before it’s shipped. The RML-3W is guaranteed by Rogue for Life.
4
SPACE EFFICIENCY
The detent pins included with the Fold Back Rack conveniently lock the rack into either the open position (ready for use) or closed position (against the wall). When stowed away, the rack takes up less than 5" of space from the wall, meaning you can have a world-class power rack in your garage without having to park your car on the street at night. Maximize your space with our efficient Wall Storage options to save even more space.
5
EASY INSTALLATION + OPTIONAL STRINGERS
Each unit comes standard with a Quick-Attach Pull-Up Bar, (4) mounting brackets for installation + all necessary hardware, a set of J-cups, and (4) detent pins. Having holes 2" on center allows for some choices in mounting the swing arms, which can be important if you need foundation clearance. Customers can also choose to add a pair of Fold Back Rack Stringers to their order at an additional cost [Highly Recommended]. The 11-gauge steel stringers feature pre-cut slots, allowing users to mount them to a standard wood stud wall (4 studs required for installation). Our stringer pair comes with all required hardware (3/8" x 2-1/2" black wood lags and washers), but any customers attempting to secure the stringers to a wall construction other than wood stud will be responsible for acquiring the correct hardware.

Great For Garage Gym
This was my first purchase from Rogue. I researched for months different manufactures of wall mount rigs and finally settled on this after a lot of positive reviews. Item shipped quickly and installation was easy. I did not purchase the stringers, and it was still a very easy installation. I am a little disappointed in the finish of the product. There was one deep gash on one of the uprights and alrought the exterior of the items are coated nice, the same cannot be said for the interior of the uprights.

Perfect Garage Rack
This rack is perfect for the garage gym. I installed it along a garage wall and was able to fold it up and then park the car. Monster Lite Safety Arms are an absolute mandatory add-on in my mind to use this safely for back squats and bench press.

FAQs
What is the difference between rogue RML 3WC and RML 3W? ›
The 3WC version differs from the RML-3W only in that it is available in various powder coat colors. Everything else is the same. The uprights of the rack are made of 3"x3" 11-gauge steel that is the same as what's used in Rogue's highest-end line, the Monster Series of racks.
Are Rogue racks good? ›Outside of variety, Rogue Fitness squat racks have a number of other positives going for them. First, they are made to last with quality materials that can withstand the heaviest beatings (they're tested thoroughly).

Is Rogue better than Titan? ›If you want the absolute best and are willing to spend the money than I would suggest going with the Rogue R-3 Power Rack. If you don't sweat the details and simply want a rack that is going to perform years of reliable service, then go with the Titan T-3 Power Rack.
Does rogue R-3 need to be bolted down? ›🔑The R-3 is designed to be bolted down.
While a lot of the cheaper power racks out there can be used free-standing, the R-3 has to be bolted to the floor. (I mean, you could use it without doing so, but Rogue is pretty adamant on this point.)
A squat rack should always be secured in place before use. Not doing so could result in unwanted rack movement or tipping. Bolting the rack to a lifting platform or the floor is the most secure option.

What height power rack do I need? ›Height Requirements for Power Racks
Remember to allow at least 24 inches from the top of your equipment to the ceiling. There should be enough clearance for exercises like pull-ups. ** If you weren't aware already, you can also purchase short power racks which come in at a height of 72 inches and under.

How do you secure a power rack without bolting? ›So, how can you anchor a squat rack without bolting it down to the floor? To anchor down a squat rack, you need a way to offset the weight and force that you're applying to one side of the rack. There are multiple ways this can be done by using weight plates, kettlebells and even bungee hooks.

If you don't own a hammer drill you can use a standard corded electric drill or cordless battery-powered drill, but it'll take at least twice as long to drill each hole.
How long do squat racks last? ›You should also consider the amount of weight and frequency of use that the squat rack will see. But do not only plan based on how much you lift now, plan based on how much you plan to live 3, 5, and even 10 years from now.
